  • If you have an emergency with your pets or livestock, we encourage you to utilize Castaway Animal Clinic’s on call emergency services. Our sister clinic is available for emergency services from 5pm-9pm M-F, after their normal business hours, as well as from 8am-9pm on Saturday and Sunday. Additional locations such as Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Tuskegee College of Veterinary Medicine, and Carriage Hills Animal Hospital also provide Emergency Services. Their information is located under Emergency Care on the home page.

  • Yes. While we do accept walk-ins, it is important to note that there may be a wait upon arrival. Since scheduled appointments will be seen before walk-ins, it is best to always call the clinic at 334-667-6800 to schedule your pet for an appointment.

  • Hurtsboro Veterinary Clinic has a fully functional mobile unit that is equipped to service a variety of large animal calls, as well as small animal house calls. We have a variety of mobile medical equipment including a portable digital x-ray unit, dental flotation equipment, and more for use during farm calls, if needed. We offer farm calls in the areas of Hurtsboro, Auburn, Pittsview, Beauregard, and more. Please call our office at 334-667-6800 to schedule a farm call appointment time.

  • Hurtsboro Veterinary Clinic has a wide range of flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite treatments and preventives for your pet. Our experienced staff can help tailor a plan to fit your pet’s individual needs and your budget. Some preventative options that we carry include Simparica Trio, Sentinel, Bravecto, Tri-Heart, and more.
